Privacy Policy
orosy, Inc. (“the Company”) recognizes the importance of protecting users' personal information and complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (“APPI”). The Company handles and protects personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Definition of Personal Information
“Personal information” as used in this Privacy Policy means information about a living individual that can identify a specific person by name, date of birth, or other descriptions contained in the information (including information that can be easily cross-referenced with other information to identify a specific individual), as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the APPI.
2. Purpose of Use
The Company uses users' personal information for the following purposes:
- To provide the Company's services
- To respond to inquiries and provide information about the Company's services
- To address violations of the Company's terms of service, rules, and policies
- To notify users of changes to the Company's terms of service
- To provide counterparty information to users as necessary for executing purchase or consignment sales agreements between users
- To improve the Company's services and develop new services
- To provide users' cookies, IP addresses, device IDs, advertising IDs, email addresses, phone numbers, and other personal information to advertising distribution companies for the purpose of analyzing and delivering more customized advertisements to users
- To create statistical data processed into a form that does not identify individuals, in connection with the Company's services
- For purposes incidental to the above
3. Changes to Purpose of Use
The Company may change the purpose of use of personal information within a scope reasonably deemed to have a reasonable connection with the original purpose, and will notify or publicly announce such changes to users.
4. Restrictions on Use
The Company will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use without the user's consent, except in the following cases:
- When required by law
- When necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the user's consent
- When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the user's consent
- When cooperation is needed for a national or local government body to execute affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the user's consent may impede the execution of such affairs
5. Proper Acquisition
The Company acquires personal information through proper means and does not use deception or other improper methods.
6. Security Management
The Company provides necessary and appropriate supervision of its employees to ensure the secure management of personal information against risks such as loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage. When outsourcing the handling of personal information in whole or in part, the Company exercises necessary and appropriate supervision of the outsourced parties.
7. Disclosure to Third Parties
When users enter into purchase or consignment sales agreements, the Company may provide all or part of the user's personal information to the counterparty user, designated credit card companies, payment processors, subcontractors, and other third parties to the extent necessary. The Company may also provide users' email addresses, phone numbers, and other personal information and advertising identifiers to advertising distribution companies for matching and analysis to deliver more customized advertisements.
Except as described above, as provided in the Terms of Service, or as permitted by the APPI or other laws, the Company will not provide personal information to third parties without the user's prior consent. The following cases are not considered disclosure to third parties:
- When outsourcing the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
- When personal information is provided as part of a business succession due to a merger or other reason
8. Disclosure of Personal Information
When requested by a user to disclose personal information as provided by the APPI, the Company will promptly disclose such information after confirming the identity of the requester (or notify the user if no such information exists). This does not apply when the Company is not obligated to disclose under the APPI or other laws. A fee of 500 JPY per request is charged for disclosure.
9. Correction of Personal Information
When requested by a user to correct, add, or delete personal information on the grounds that it is inaccurate, the Company will conduct a necessary investigation without delay, correct the information based on the results, and notify the user accordingly. This does not apply when the Company is not obligated to make corrections under the APPI or other laws.
10. Suspension of Use
When requested by a user to cease use or delete personal information on the grounds that it has been handled beyond the publicly announced purpose of use or obtained through improper means, the Company will promptly cease use of or delete the information after confirming the validity of the request and the identity of the requester. This does not apply when the Company is not obligated to do so under the APPI or other laws.
11. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Company's services may use cookies and similar technologies. These technologies help the Company understand usage patterns and improve services. Users who wish to disable cookies may do so through their web browser settings. However, disabling cookies may limit access to some features of the service.

The Company regularly reviews the handling of personal information and strives for continuous improvement. This Privacy Policy may be amended as necessary.
14. External Data Transmission
In providing services on this site, the Company transmits data related to users from users' devices to the Company or its partner businesses. To opt out of external data transmission, please follow the procedures provided by each respective partner company. Please note that opting out may limit your ability to use certain services.
